Amikinos Reference cat is the cat food with the lowest impact on blood glycaemia. In order to achieve that, not only did we chose to have the lowest amount of carbohydrates as possible (11,5%), but we excluded all the sources of carbohydrate with a high glycaemic index from the recipe.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you switch your cat to Amikinos Reference cat, please proceed with a slow transition. Since our recipe contains very little carbohydrates, and even though it is better, the gut flora may need some time to adjust.
